Here is a link to my exhaust clip. Thinking about SLP Loudmouth but open to suggestions.

Right now its on what I like to call "ghetto" dumps, its not even a clean cut job under there. On top of that its completely rusted and just needs to be replaced.............................sounds good though!

Does it have any muffler on it? Sounds like no cats on it either. Little loud for my taste but if you're happy thats all that matters.

Yeah that sounds Ghetto to me. You should go ahead and do it right
and invest in an X- mid pipe and cat back.

Well if this was in talk instead of tech you'd get more replies.

Speaking of ghetto, SLP loudmouth IMHO sounds like total garbage, you mine as well just not have mufflers if you're going that route. Seems like most people ive seen with the loudmouths are teenagers begging for attention

Bassani but then again I am biased. But there's also the mac flowpaths and you should definetely get them over the dronemasters.

Thanks for the feedback!! I've never heard of guys who think an exhaust system is TOO loud?? Right now my dumps are super loud which is fine but its the headaches from the fumes that getting to me. I will check out Bassani and Mac on youtube. Anyone out there have any clips of their exhaust?

Doesn't have enough tone... sounds like a truck that someone hacked the exhaust off of.

Not trying to be harsh, but honest rather, lol.

I am not a fan of the Loudmouths unless they are the Loudmouth-II's (not as nasty sounding, a little less loud, but more tone). I vote MAC.

grey car :: start up x pipe video by Lord_Kornnut - Photobucket

I have SLP on my car. I don't DD the car otherwise I wouldn't have it on there. At the time I bought it SLP was the cheapest all stainless catback out there. I love the tips also. I just bought some steeda long tubes and o/r H. I plan in time to replace the LM1s in the catback with some mac stainless mufflers. It's just not #1 or even #10 on my list. I don't mind the sound but I like mac better.

to each his own but im really a fan of tail pipes. i think it makes the exhaust note sharper and more pronounced giving it tone. slp makes good quality stuff but imho, the slp II's sound much better than the ones - at least with a o/r mid pipe. the I's sound alright with cats.

if you are considering a full catback, the price and sound of mac is hard to beat

I agree, I think they sound like crap. They are good if you are going for that classic farm truck sound though!

This is like the third time I've clicked this thread in the last few days.

I think it's funny - nobody really wants to drive around on ghetto dumps, but I think everyone thinks it sounds cool at least once

A friend's rusty old Escort lost it's muffler and some pipe on the first leg of a road trip. We drove the rest of the trip sounding like a dirt-track Pinto. It actually sounded good when you matted the gas lol.
