My car already has a flowmaster mufflers on it with stock pipes. Is there somewhere where i can just buy the dumped tail pipes? Dont need a kit or anything. I would imagine they would be cheap. Thanks for the help.

Those official 'dumps' are pricey, arent they. I was at a chain shop today (I was driving by) and went in to ask for a 2.25" ID x 2.25" ID adapter that is lightly curved (muffler outlet connection). They looked at me like a 'tard and told me it would be 40 bucks to make such an item.

I tried not to laugh as I walked away.

The easiest and cheapest way to have this done is go to your local muffler shop and have them use regular exhaust tubing and bend a 20-25 degree angle in it and cut off your factory right behind the muffler and weld on the made elbows. Dont spend your money on some fancy tips, they are not seen anyhow and the exhaust tubing looks just fine. If you wanna make it look even better, once they are one, cut the end at an angle that is parallel with the ground.

I bought my turndowns at autozone for $5 or $10 bucks. You can clamp them on have them welded.

I knew I had seen curved pipe there before. The store I hit today didnt have any. Thanks for the info - I will have to check a couple more stores.

you could get a shop to take a piece of pipe like 2 or 3 feet long and make a 180 deg bend. Cut that beaiotch in half cut to fit then weld them suka's on.

I had dumps on my exhaust before, and just picked up 2 turn down extentions from Advanced, and mounted them on a 45 degree angle so they did not blow up so much dirt on the road, and direct the exhaust towards the sides to reduce chances of it getting into the car.

Whats the sound difference between full pipes and dumps, I'm considering putting on some dumps as well because it makes it alot easier to access the rear upper control arms, which will prbly be my next project after the I do th cam swap next week. My exhaust is BBK LT's, no-cat h pipe, AT flowmasters. I'm not really worried about it getting louder just dont want a horrible drone on the highway
