Anybody ever use Dynamat on the floor of a 1965 Mustang Fastback?
Did it reduce interior noise?
Is it worth the cost?
How many Square Feet from the trap door to the firewall?
Any problems/complaints?
Any other recommendations besides Dynamat?

I started with dynamat and found similar material at local auto paint store.
Works the same and a heck of a lot cheaper. Entire interior is covered, but
my exhaust are so loud, nothing would keep the noise out.

Good timing! I was just doing a little research on the subject today. I have a roll of standard dynamat that I purchased a while ago. Most of the reviews and comments I read agree that dynamat is a great product but over-priced. Readers mention other products such as second skin (seconskinaudio.com) and fatmat (fatmat.com, i think). Fatmat deals on ebay and direct on the net, second skin has dealers and if unavailable they deal direct. Both products appear similar to dynamats' products. Reviews seam to suggest the same. Price for both products is about 1/3 of dynamat. Fatmat plus was about $70 with shipping for a product similar to dynamat extreme. Hope that helps.

Yep, exactly. It works great, but it's overpriced. The bass from my 2 12" subs hardly even leaves my car, it all stays inside.
