Hey,

I just picked up a flyer for "Seattle's 2nd Annual Dyno Challenge". It is August 18 - 19th from 9 - 5pm. There are classes for 4, 5, 6, 8 and over cylinder engines as well as hp per liter.

Kito Auto Sports, 1111 NW 54th St. Seattle, WA 98107.

$20 hook up, $15 per pull (5 pull max), $5 air / fuel logging. They have a Mustang MD-500 AWD capable dyno

Anyone on here that can go run their car and make a good showing for the Mustang or SVT crowd? It better run strong cause I have heard of a few 800 whp imports around here!!!! Yikes!

Post if you think you can dyno and let us know what day you will go. Maybe we can get a bunch of Fords down there.

put me down for a 'maybe'. Would like to see what this thing will do.

One question though. I haven't read anywhere about if tire selection makes a difference on these dyno machines. Any opinions or experience on this?

This motor is 30 over 11:1, 580 lift crower roller cam and lifters and rockers, pro built by Larson and King, FPA headers, 391 rear, 750 holley dble pump, normally aspirated, pertronix ign.w/ flamethrower coil.

why? low numbers?

in the end who cares what the printout says. what matters is how it performs. i can run right with a friends mid 400rwhp mustang but i highly doubt im even above 350awhp.

exactly because of the low numbers. If i was tuning then I'd take a mustang dyno over a dynojet any day. but considering its a 'dyno day' where people are just making 1 or 2 pulls its ALL about what the printout says. and since most of the numbers i see online came off a dynojet i really would have no basis of comparison for the numbers i would get. but thats just me:shrug:
