Okay, we should be all set. If anyone has any questions about the dyno day or if you'd like to be added to the list, let me know. I'll see you all on the 20th!

Sean,

Do you guys have racing gas at your shop? If not, any recommendations where to get it?

I want to make my pulls with as much timing as I can (S-trimmed 302) and then use the BTM to make it safe on pump gas.

Gregg

Yep, we sure do. We always stock 120 gallons of race gas. We offer 114 octane leaded and 100 octane unleaded, both for $4.95/gallon.

Sean, is it OK to mix unleaded with leaded? I will be driving down there an I will need some fresh 114 on the Dyno day.

The word on that is that it can foul the O2 sensors and ruins your cats.

Lead will NOT harm O2 sensors, but is very bad for cats.

To whooooooom it may concern...
The Chevron at Jantzen Beach has high octane out of the drum for those "lurking" up and down I-5. Just thought I'd pass it along...

It actually will... but it takes about a full drag season (of drag racing only).

My Syclone used to lead out the O2s about once a year.

While leaded gas does harm O2 sensors, you can run it for a *long* time with no problems. On my Supra, which I run 114 octane leaded 24/7, the O2 sensor lasts around 15,000-20,000 miles. Of course, your mileage may vary depending on how rich your car runs and how often you're on the throttle.

Running leaded gas for one dyno session is perfectly fine.

You're talking about the rear O2's right? cause the front ones have to be there still or you'd be runing in open loop all the time, unless you have a different computer.
