what if any difference is there between a mustang dyno and a dynojet. i'm getting upper plenum in a couple weeks and should this be a good time to get a tune? my mods will be complete w the exception of headers which will be probably a long way down the road. also with either dyno will my diablo predator still be effective, i have no clue and have never had a dyno tune so any advice will help.

mustang dyno is a true loading dyno and generally has lower numbers because of this. but it's very good for dyno tuning. I'd say go for a tune if you're not gonna be doing anything for awhile, you'd most likely gain some horses. You need to find a tuner who tunes with Diablo and he will just use your predator.

yep thats teh difference however a good tuner will be able to lay a good tune down on either dyno. which dyno does your local shop have? imo with you relative low amount of mods get on a dynojet, it will definitly make you feel better about your car than a mustang dyno will. eventhough its just numbers, nobody wants to see there car put down numbers in the low 200's i dont care who you are. with nothing more than a catback and cai(which did nothing) my car put down 195hp on a mustang dyno. talk about humbling.
