Sounds like a 289 Im setting up for a freind of mine. All but the cam, Your cam is small for those heads. And you are good with the carb, maybe a custom stage two rebuild from carb shop or performnce carbs will help driveablity a bit. Whats the compression and what intake are you using. Either way thats a nice street combo.

well, with the TFS Twisted Wedge springs (smog legal ones atleast) they dont recommend going over .540 lift, if thats what he has.
I made 308 rwhp @ 5350 and 319 rwtq @ 4400 with those heads with an emissions legal cam. and thats with a long runner intake EFI. the cam specs are 282*/282* adv. duration 220*/220* @ .05 and .535/.535 lift. Ive always heard carb setups make more power so Im sure you should be able to match that. well, mine was with a T5 so i would expect ATLEAST 290-295rwhp from yours when you get better matching parts.
