Went to the dyno yesterday for a couple baseline runs. The car dyno'd at 228 and 269. That's about what I expected for a 2001 GT w/Steeda cat back and BBK cai. I was thinking my next mod would be an SLP o/r X pipe and then nitrous. How do you guys think that combo would sound?

If your numbers are SAE-corrected, then your experience would be a testament to the fact that CAIs and catbacks don't do much for our cars. See my stock dyno numbers in my sig for a baseline comparison:

Also - I'm assuming you were on a dynojet, of course!

black 01 your numbers seem strong for the mods, but the other guys dont look so hot. the cars dyno almost that much stock.

im not talkin crap on you guys im just dissapointed, that my car could not be making much power either. (never dynoed yet)

i mean either the mods are not making much of a difference, or the cars were a little below average bone stock
