Well, I just called up and scheduled a full dyno tune on October 10th at XXtuning. They use a mustang dyno and it will cost $275 for an hour. Now I have a mail ordered tune from MPH. I know Tim is one of the best tuners out there for mustangs. Should I expect any gains over the 93 oct tune I have from Tim?

Probably not, the local tuner guys (with dynos) are hard to beat, they can dial the car right in, it's tough to do that through the mail.

Probably not, meaning I won't see much of a gain? Like I said the tune I have now is a mail order tune from MPH. Its a good tune but I figure I can get even more dialed in with an actual dyno like you said.

I dont know, If your N/A, Tim's tune's are spot on. He has so much data from every car he has tuned and it really is about as good as it gets. It would be really a waste of cash to get it dyno tuned if your N/A, imho. My brother and i both had his mail order tune's until i went FI, of course, and nobody would touch it since it was spot on. $275/hr sounds expensive too, all the places near me charge about that much for a full Tune, no matter how long it takes. You could have it done, but is the cash worth the maybe 5hp tops you'll gain?

It’s 275 for the first hour then 175 for each additional hour. They are known as one of the best dyno tuners around this area. They are recommended by the local mustang club.

what is your HP right now? Have you had it dyno'd? With your mods in your sig, if your b/w 240-250rwhp, i dont think you'll really see much more, even with a dyno tune.

I have no idea what my HP is. Its probably around 250rwhp. I haven't had it dyno'd. Something strange happens going wot around 60mph. It seems as if my engine revs quicker but loses power for a few seconds. I don't no what’s going on with that. I figured a dyno tune couldn’t hurt. I was thinking that I would get around 10-15 more hp with a dyno tune.

That sounds more like a tranny issue to me. If you havent had ur car dyno'd yet, always expect low or you'll be dissapointed. It seems like its never as high as you think. I had 250rwhp with a CAI and 5spd and the rest of the same bolt ons as you. So with an auto, i would expect prolly a little less. But hey, if you arent strapped for the cash, it definately cant hurt getting a dyno tune.
