I live in Bedford VA , not far from Roanoke , I need advice on where to take my car to get it dyno tuned , I was looking at taking it to dyno tuned performance in cheasepeake but I was wondering if there was any place closer to me that has a good rep , or would it be in my best interest to drive on down to GA to see tim at T&Js , also anybody wanna guess what its putting out now and after chime in ??? Im taking a video camera to post on here also , probably be next week when I go .

Mods are
bbk full lengths
matching x with converters
flowmaster american thunder cat back
vortech 8lb non intercooled
38 lbs injectors
stock TB and plenum
stock gears

Of course I would think that T and J would be a good bet. But I also like Kauffman motorsports www.kauffmanmotorsports.com They also use EFI solutions (same software as T and J) and are VERY knowledgable at tuning mod motors. The only downside is it would probably be about a 5 hour drive from Roanoke.

Actually I did not drive down to Tims shop. He had my computer flashed then mailed it back to me. He recommended Kauffman's to me just to test the tune out. So that is where I went (~3.5 hour drive) The #s in my sig are what I got with the basic mongoose kit tune.

No, they did not need to. Tim told me that if any changes needed to be done that I could of had Dave make them.

Check with Steen Racing - Ed Clark tunes with SCT software and he knows what he is doing.

do you know how much they charge and do they have an onsite dyno to tune it on , didnt specify on the website . and have you heard anything about DTP , (dynotuned performance) in cheasepeake , are they good ? ive seen a few cars on here they have done including one KB car they got more HP than the KB tune out of it . so that impressed me

Sorry I don't - I think it would just be easier to call and speak to them. Atleast this way you get the correct information.

I have never heard anything about DTP. But I have heard good things about Steen Racing. Your best bet would be to call some of these guys up and talk to them. Go with who ever you feel most comfortable with.

There are two places around the Bristol area (3 hours away) one is Motor Mavericks and the other is Blue Oval Classics. They both have widebands but I'm not sure if they can actually tune it. I was told I could get them to put mine on the dyno and then mail the A/F ratios and numbers to someone that can burn a chip. That might be an option for you.
