Here are two vids from the terrible dyno session I had yesterday. Car lost a bunch of power, which means it is time to start the new build, or at least the planning of it. One video is just the car, the second video is the tach. Keep in mind he shut the car down at 6000 according to his machine, my tach hit 6900 when the car was at 6000. This means I will be shifting it at 6500 on the stock tach this weekend.

My speedo bounces pretty hard when traction is an issue.. although I dont that that was 25th's problem in the vid.

No idea under 40 it bounces, it's fine over that. Definately not losing traction...

Car lost 14 rwhp and 21 rwtq...

With zero changes other than brakes, wheels and tires, and the mid pipe and catback change.

meh... 14 hp... that pretty neglidble on a dyno... the same car could vary that much from its run at 8am to its run on the same dyno at 5pm the same day.

If it runs the same times... dont worry bout it.

I doubt it will run the same times, but we will see... 14 is a bit to me when were talking mid 200 rwhp, and the torque went from good to below 300 to the tire, which sucks.

I went from a Prochamber and a Mac Catback, to an off road X and Spintech mufflers dumped.

your speedo will bounce when your speedo gear is geting worn, The more it bounces the worse the speedo gear is!

I wouldnt be surprised if the pro-chambers and Mac muflers account for at least half the difference, Mac exhaust stuff makes great power....especially th pro-chambers.

Myabe the exhaust had a little to do with it, I can't see how mufflers, and the prochamber would have that big of an effect. Wish I had the prochamber back to try it out.

Yeah a speedo gear would probably fix it, but then again this tranny wont be in there forever, and I can drive it fine how it is.
