Hey All, Happy Holidays! I'm getting a little tired of my exhaust combo, although I get many compliments on the way it sounds. I have the catted bassani X, and flows (I think they're american thunders). I don't want to change the X, was thinking about just welding in the dynomax race bullets, or the slp loudmouth (more money of course, but love those 3.5 tips). Any opinions? Or other mufflers? Thanks

PS drove an 05 today, damn ford, and of course I want it...,can't wait until the cobra comes out

Yes Happy Holidays! I would say keep your current set up but,if you have to
change I would go with the Dynomax
race bullets because they flow better
than the Flow's do but,not by much!
Going from a chambered muffler to a
straight through designed muffler will be
a difference! I have the same set up
as you do right now and I must say I love
the sound!

Its going to be LOUD no matter which choice you go with (SLP or Dynomax) so just see if anyone in your area has a certain similar combo and see which is better.

Thanks For the quick responses I know this is a very subjective question but thanks again for the opinions.

Happy Holidays to you aswell. If it were me I would go with the dynomax bullets. I have put them on a lot of Cobra's and GT's w/Bassani Xpipes (o/r and Catted), and also used them w/some longtube applications and prochamber hpipes. They sound Awesome. Will be a very unqiue sound. The SLP Loudmouth is an good catback aswell. But My personal perfrence would be to go with the dynomax Bullets. They are a lot cheaper too. Good luck on which ever way you go. You will love the sound either way.

I've had the Bullets on for about a week now and love it. I still have the stock mid-pipe though. I let one of my coworkers that has a 98 as well and he said it sounded good. And I just welded them in. I still have the stock pipes.
