for x-mas i want to get my dad some new mufflers. the super turbos are to quite :notnice: i was thinking something along the lines of dynomax ultra flow's the 2 1/2 inlet and outlet. think these will sound good? looking for something that will have a nice rumble from idle on up threw the rpm range.

feedback is welcome as well as other idea for what other mufflers! and sound clips would be nice.

this clip has been around the world and back but here are some flowmaster off road X-pipes... idle to about 2800 -3k

lol yeah the clip's about 4 years old now. hah still only one of the few spintech clips i've seen around. guess i really never look though. when i bought my car it had a 2.5" bassani o/r X pipe with some 40 series flows...wasn't quite loud enough for me so i took it all off and had my current exhaust put on. wouldn't change it for the world! actually i'm thinking about hooking my tails back up. they were hooked up to the flowmasters for a while then i had it dumped before i changed my exhaust. i think it'd sound REALLY good with the spintechs.

$100 each for Spintechs... Glad I didnt pay anywhere near that for mine!

How loud does your dad want it? I know my dad doesnt like loud and even calls my car obnoxious, and if I bought him some loud mufflers he wouldnt appreciate it. He has Hooker Max Flow mufflers on his 91 and likes them. Similar in tone to the Mac mufflers but quieter (and they are straight through, not chambered).

Find out what your dad wants. If he wants really loud, SLPs or Bullitts, if he wants quiet, Hookers or maybe some Magnaflows?
