e brake boot

i like the 2001 -2004 e brake boot cuz instead of that ugly rubber thing i got i would rather have the leather one cuz it looks so much nicer and doesn't show what u see under that rubber one, just curious if anyone wanted this or had done it and can it be done? thanks -JEFF

I got mine done, but I just used the 2001+ vinyl one as a template and had an interior shop make me a leather one to match the shifter boot they made. The new ones mount differently, so you can't just drop it in. I'll take pics of mine when I get home. Looks 10x better.

At least some of the 94-98 Cobra models came with the leather-wrapped e-brake handle. I picked one up off of eBay for $9.99+shipping. It's a simple drop-in replacement for the old one.

The new book froom 50 resto.com has them in it. It has the 01-04 leather for 48.95 and the 94-97 rubber for 26.95.

I picked it up from a salvage yard that was parting out a wrecked 98 Cobra a month ago, I don't think there's anyone there that sells it regularly.

1105, Dallas Mustang has some of these 94-98 Cobra handles... for a ripoff price ($79.99). If you can tell, the leather wrapping's shaped a little differently than the New Edge models.

Sorry I missunderstood your first post, I didnt want the handle, I wanted the leather boot for the e-brake.
