E-brake light

This has just recently started to happen so maybe I caught it before it gets worse...Whenever I brake somewhat hard my e-brake light comes on, I know it's disengaged, but whenever the nose goes down a bit due to braking the light comes on until I level out again. Anybody else have this problem?

may want to check the switch at the base of the e-brake. when it grounds (i think) it turns the light on. mine was loose and wasn't coming on all the time. i tightened it up while i was installing the 03 console and it works perfectly fine now.

I topped off the brake fluid, problem solved. Thanks gentlemen.
