E CAM --surge (I got the blues)

...Just got a new crate engine installed from FRPP with the E Cam in my 95 Cobra and it's surging below 2000rpm. It doesn't die but sounds like it wants too. What are my options in resolving this problem? Would a chip help me out or will I need a whole new computer????

I here that the 94-95 Mustang 5.0's are very sensitive to cam changes. Nothing that a chip can't take care of. If you haven't already I would post this thread in the 94-95 Tech section in the 5.0 Forums.
