I know, the less than ideal camshaft selection. I'm posting this for a neighbor who has no internet connectivity.
Does anyone who currently runs the e303 experience any low-rpm bucking?

I use the E303 cam in both of my 87' 5.0 Stangs. My coupe does buck a bit just of idle but my Convertible doesn't so it is not the cam that is causing the bucking.

it's built for speed not longevity, woman
He doesn't have a surging idle, he just has the cam ready to install but was wondering if he would have the bucking issue. When I say bucking, I don't mean idle problems, just under low rpm load.

My E-303 has been great, and has proven to be a good cam.Maybe not the best cam out there overall, but still a good cam.It seems to like the higher rpm's as well.It hasn't caused any bucking in my car.

I have the e303 cam in one of my motors and it runs fine, make sure he changes the valve springs or he will have a problem

lord i hate this cam, every car ive messed with either lopes like a pro mod, or completely stock. i think crower and frpp should delete this cam, HOWEVER i have seen a couple run hard with them. imo they are worse than a stock cam..
