Thumper can up the size of the valves if you like. I would go no more than 1.90/1.60.

The power heads look good too, but from what I read they flow test there heads at 25 and should be using 28.

From teh Edelbrock tech pages....

Typically flow bench values are given for a pressure drop of 28 in H2O. To convert flow figures from a different pressure drop to 28 in H2O use the formula above.

Example: You have flow figures of 152 cfm at 10 in H2O. What if the same head was flowed at 28 in H2O?

CFM H2O = 152 x √(28÷10) = 254 cfm

I liked the fact that the Thumper heads put up competitive flow #'s with the stock valve sizes. This keeps the port velocity up (more low end power/torque) and then you also don't have to worry about possible piston-valve clearance issues.

flow numbers give a good idea of what might be.
dyno numbers narrow it in some.
track times(given the combo) are what I look at most closely.

As long as the lift isn't too high or you don't have some other work done, this is true.

I found the Thumpers preserved all of my low-end performance while adding power across the rest of the power band. I'm happy with them (Mustang dyno numbers below are with Thumper/Tmoss stocker, stock cam, stock upper, 1.7 rr's and exhaust.

Use protection and minimize the consequences so you can hit it harder and more often!

Engine Might have to get a Dart block but don't want to and if I do, then 363 instead of 331. Thoughts on what I've already bought so far.......
