81-83 2.3/T5 bellhousing question
I have a 2.3 EFI swapped into a Suzuki Samurai. I'm running a modified pinto four speed. I'm currently re-doing the swap and want to upgrade to a T5 for the OD. The bellhousing I have for the T5 has an arm/pivot on the outside of the bellhousing. I really don't have the room to make this work. So, cruising the internet, and reading between some lines, I'm thinking that the early T5 mustangs (81-83) used a "normal" cable clutch set up. Is this correct? If so I'd like to know if anybody is sitting on one of these bellhousings and might want to part with it.
Anybody have a pic?......
Thanks in advance from a newby
