EBAY EIBACH springs, need help

I just got my socalled Eibach's today. They were won off Ebay. They arrived in an Eibach box with all instructions but the springs have "JAMEX 2309-R" on them. I thought they should say "EIBACH". Did this a-hole rob me or does Jamex make the springs for Eibach? I hope I didn't get taken. Thanks :bang:

I just called Eibach and was told if it doesn't say Eibach they are not Eibach's.
Now are these JAMEX springs worth a crap or not. I still have to email the A&& that stuck me. If anyone knows about Jamex springs could you coment on them. I have searched the net and found that they made springs for Lexus, Infinty, Benz, BWM and Honda as aftermarket but no Ford. I don't even know if they will fit. :bang: :bang: :bang: :bang: :bang: :bang: :bang:

Actually

Actually Jamex did used to make springs for Ford, but they were for Fox-Body Mustangs... they make springs mostly for Euro cars like you said, but I know you never hear anyone talking about Jamex springs in their mustang or GM f-body so I'd ditch 'em and stick with what works...

Put them on and see how low you can go and how they ride. My Eibach Sportlines are bad ass. However it sucks that the ones you have are not Eibach's.

That auction is shady as $hit!!! He probably thinks that by advertising as Eiboch, not Eibach, he can stay outta trouble.

Unless he says, "yeah, i tried to screw ya", i wouldnt believe a word he says.

Good luck getting it resolved...an NO, don't keep the springs

I took a look at the auction...the guy only has 17 positive feedbacks, and they are mixed sales & purchases. Don't install the springs at all, just keep everything together.

Sounds like he tried to pass of some springs as Eibachs and is using the misspelling "eiboch" to protect himself, at least in his own mind. Either that or he really thought those springs were Eibachs himself. Here's what I would do:

1) Contact him through eBay and cc him through personal email. Give him 2 days to respond. Also, pull his contact information through eBay. There should be a phone number listed - call it.

2) If not resolved in 1 week, issue a Negative feedback on eBay. I'm not sure how you paid...if through PayPal, try filing a dispute with them. If you paid with a credit card or VISA Check Card through PayPal, call the issuing financial institution and file a fraud chargeback. They will conduct their own investigation and more than likely refund all your money.

I really dislike PayPal, but if you did use them and paid through a checking account (bad idea), then the only thing you can really do is to file a dispute with eBay and PayPal and hope they find in your favor. Hopefully you paid with a credit card. I make it a point to pay for eBay purchases with a credit card every time, no matter what.

Eibach most definetly makes their own springs. THey should be either red or black powdercoated with the name Eibach somewhere on the spring along with the eibach P/N.

I think you got screwed bro :(

The guy did contact me lastnight and said the springs were in the car when he bought it and the box was with the car so he thought they were them. He ask if I wanted to install them first to see what I thought then let him know. I have found a few guys with Jamex springs and they realy like them. It seems the guy is willing to take them back but I don't know if I should keep these if they are good springs. What do you guys think??
