Anybody in the market for a Saleen might want to avoid the Ebay auction for 00-0007... Seems to be conspicuously absent from the registry, among other "problems"...
I've emailed the seller - we'll see if he changes the auction or not.

After seeing that engine bay plaque I'd say that car is about as fake as a set of Hollywood boobies!

That engine bay plaque got my curiousity first - just TOO perfect!
I looked it up after that, and found that it didn't exist...

Other problems noted:
Replica wheels
No bumper number
No dash plaque
Wrong pedals
Underhood plaque wrong font & too "perfect"
Incorrect fender emblems
150 mph gauge cluster, no Saleen logos

BTW, just traded emails with the buyer - he sounds pizzed. I told him to a) buy the Saleen book, b) call Saleen in the morning if he doesn't believe me...

He should have done some research first. Too late now.
I wouldn't pay for it. I would rather destroy my Ebay reputation than to pay alot of money for a falsy advertised vehicle.

I saw the speedo and wondered what was up with it as well. I hope the guy doesn't pay for it. He's really going to be pissed when he finds it's not in the registry.
