I'm betting those bulbs wouldn't last a month before they blow. As for the housing it almost looks good. The little ball in the middle would look a little strange I think. Tribars look the best but they are expensive. Personally Halogen sealed beams are as good as it gets on a limited budget.

I work at a speed shop, those (and many like them) are cheapo plastic lense lights. They generally leak, don't last very long and don't light up the road very good.

I have these ones:

Hella P/N 70477 / 002395301

http://www.crutchfield.com/S-ULtES81l8kP/App/Product/Item/Main.aspx?I=52970477

They have glass lenses. They are 100% brighter then the sealed beams. They come with cheapo generic bulbs, I put Piaa head light bulbs in them which make them even brighter. If you want funky looking ones Autoloc headlights look good and have a Decent price tag. (glass lenses).

Autoloc has new ones that are tri-bar with a city/whore light in the center too

Just some random link I pulled off the net, but yes the price is for each and 9003 is a fancy name for H4. The Hella's are worth every penny and they look cool too!

View attachment 328459

I put PIAA 1157'S in the front signal / marker (since the picture) they are now bright as hell and bluey white to match the headlights.

Headlights PIAA Extreme White Plus H4'S...eeeer...9003'S P/N 15224
Marker / Signal PIAA Extreme White 1157 P/N 19228

Now all I need is $600 worth of N.O.S taillights and all be set. LOL

The H4 is held in with a wire retainer (Like a new car with H4'S) An H4 has 3 prongs on it like the sealed beam it replaces. The new light housing goes in the same way the sealed beam does. (headlight trim ring). No modifications needed, it simply replaces the sealed beam and plugs into the factory harness. You might want to add a relay. Check the voltage at the headlight plug, it is not unusual to find 10-11 volts there on an old car. By adding a relay you will get full batttery voltage to the headlight (making them even brighter).
