Hey Ed,
I've been waiting to hear back from you. I've been emailing you with some questions about my setup that I'm gonna be doing soon and I've been trying to get a price on a set of AFRs w/ shipping. I'll be ready to order them next week. So, please email me back soon so I'll know what I should or shouldn't do. I'm definately gonna be ordering the heads sometime next week, though. I emailed you from here on stangnet first, then I emailed you to the email address you had on your site from my email address. My email address is stangboy77@hotmail.com.

Thanks,
Craig

I don't think a lot of people realize that Ed is a total one-man show at FlowTech Induction. He does all the work, answers the phones, and replies to emails. You got to understand that everytime he checks his email, he's probably looking at somewhere between 50-75 emails if not more.

I only know this because I've spoken with him about his business on the phone and only then do you get a good appreciation of the volume of business he handles individually and how busy he really is.

Be patient, and don't expect a reply the same day...especially if its over the weekend or something.

You pay a premium for Ed's service as he does custom work. If you want fast service...go through Summit who have hundreds of call reps and techs. It can be frustrating if you're not used to it, but that is what you have to expect. Most people, including myself, are shocked at the responsiveness he is able to give knowing his time commitments to his business, NMRA, personal life, etc...

Ok...I"m getting off his soapbox now and won't get back on until I get my combo running and see the results

Send him an e-mail, or call on the phone. I just e-mailed him last week about something and got a reply the next day. Not bad, actually -- everything 94DreamGT said is true, Ed is a very busy man.

I understand he's a busy man. I just thought I would have gotten a quicker response through email because he was responding fairly quickly to one of the posts on here last week when I emailed him. Thanks for letting me know about his business, though. I had no idea he was doing everything by himself. In the post last week he was telling me that he has AFRs in stock, so they can be shipped out sooner than if I was to order them from somewhere that drop-ships, like JD's Performance. I was originally gonna order them from JD's because I've done business with Dave before and it was good, but I heard it take forever when you order heads from him because he drop-ships them. Well, thanks guys. i'll be a little more patient now that i know he's a one-man show over there at FTI.

Yeah, I also had no idea Ed was a one man show until I talked to him on the phone. Considering that, its pretty amazing the volume of stuff he does. I usually get an email response within 1-2 days.
