Edelbrock aluminum heads and arp bolts?

I have some aluminum edelbrock heads and they suggest the uber expensive 254-3708 12point head bolts. Can the 154-3601 be used? Are they stepped from 7/16" to 1/2" and can I use the washers that come with Arp or buy the Edelbrock bushings?

I went with ARP studs and bought the edelbrock 1/2" bushing kit.

the 3601's will work fine.

i never use any bushings or anything when i put aluminum heads on with the 3601s. never a problem.
