Anyone know what I am going to need to hook up the throttle cable to this carb? It's the ball and socket type off the original carb and this one does not have that type of connector. I've been looking at the accessory items the instructions call out, but none of them seem to add this type of connector.

Second part of the question. I believe I have seen it referred to as a choke block off plate for the intake. I just put on an edelbrock performer, can I buy this plate somwhere or do I need to fabricate one? Got it to turn over today, but it sound like it is running a little rough and loud. Could the fact that this hole is open be causing that? Thanks again.
