edelbrock performer question

hey looking to get one but before i shell out the cash do they make a lower that will fit a 351w? if so do i have to get it directly from edelbrock or is there a alternative that bolts up to it?? looking for any options i can find let me know guys:SNSign:

The Edelbrock 351W EFI truck lower will work for what you want Part #: 3884

Unfortunately, it's pretty pricey at $305.95 IMO.

I'm not certain a regular performer is what you want on a 351 anyway... I would personally look into the RPM or RPMII, or even a systemax. If your looking for good low end tq from idle to 3 to 5k rpm then the performer will work, but you will be hurting that motor on the top end (of course this also depends on the cam you choose).

hmm alright i guess theres really no point in buying it if it wont work for my 408 build that would be silly to throw money away then

I'm not trying to lose a sale, but it would be a waste of money for you. I wouldnt feel right about it.
