Edelbroke set-up, and mechanical fuel pump

Hey guys
I am building another motor, and I am thinking of the full eddy top end

the proformer RPM carb, intake, and heads. Now will a mechanical fuel pump be able to keep the thristy carb full, or do I have to get a low pressure electric pump.

Edelbrock has a new line of Electric pumps,anything that will supply 4-8 psi and sustain pressure at WOT.A pump that pute out over 7 psi line pressure wil need a regulator, i have a summit pump and it seems to be ok with boost,puts out 22 psi free flow and 130 gph

thats a mechanical, or electric pump

I wanted to use a mechanical, just for ease of installation, and cheaper to replace........and more reliable

I use a mechanical it seems to work ok, it is a stock replacement pump, I have ran it for 3 years with no problems.
