Will a EEC from a 94 or 95, like a W4HO, work in a 88-93 Mass Air car that originally had an A9P?

No and you wouldn't' want it anyway. A lot of the '94-'95 guys are converting to the Fox EEC as the SN95 isn't as "mod friendly" as the Fox body ECU.

Thanks for the answers, but now I wonder why. If you can run an A9P (or A9L) in a later car, why cant a later EEC in an earlier car? The earlier car has no mods (88 California GT).

Well for one thing, you need to purchase an aftermarket harness to run a Fox computer in an Sn95. I do not beleive there is a harness to put an Sn95 comp in a Fox.

Not really something anyone would want to really as the Fox computer is "better"

The wiring harness and computer pin arrangement are completely different.

The 88 Cali cars were supposed to be Mass Air. Look for a MAF in the air inlet tube for the throttle body.
