hey guys,

i am in the middle of a mass air conversition. i went to radio shack and got some pin connectors for the new maf wires to put in the cpu. that is the only place i could find decent pin connectos and they are different than the stock pin connectoct. i have them in but am wondering if it is ok. i have the wiriring going all the way to the end of the connector so if i plug the new cpu in the cpu will be touching the wire in the connector. is this ok?

also, the connectos are just shy of getting to the end of the harness. is this ok? they aresecure because if i tug they are not coming out. i just want to make sure it is ok if they are not all the way to the end. they are close and i think the cpu pin will still go in the connecor.

Please let me know because this conversion is taking way too long and i just want it to be over.

thanks,

Forget about pins or parts from Raido shack, they won't work. Try AutoZone for a Ford pin kit, or better still, see RJM Injection Tech — EEC-IV Terminal for the exact pins you need.

thanks, i got a ford kit from autozone but the pins were to big. i would order them for the link you gave but they are sold out. I also checked autozones website but could not find any.

Is there anywhere else i can check or a link to a website i can buy them off of?

these connectos might be the reason my car won't start now.

thanks again

I think you either have to call them or email them with your order and card info. Were it me, I would call.
