Use your stock fuel line as a return line, and make a new pressure line.

Distributor depends on the EFI system used. Have you decided which one? Factory? Aftermarket? Speed density? MAF? I don't think you've reached 97% yet.

I also used the stock line as a return line and ran it to a fitting screwed into the drain plug hole. For the high pressure line I pulled from the tank to an external frame mounted high pressure pump (mid 80's ford truck) to a filter, then to 5/16 lines made from brake lines. Use foil to make a pattern then bend it and install it.
I used fuel hose rated for high pressures to connect the brake lines.

I recommend getting a donor car to make sure you get all the little brackets and such.
