EFI, Fox Brake Booster Question

I’m planning on transplanting an EFI motor from an 88 Mustang GT into a 67 coupe. I’d like to use the fox body brake booster but I’m concerned about clearance issue with the EFI intake.

Has anyone had experience with this combination?

I have that setup and don't have any clearance problems. I even have a T5 in the car. I did end up going with a hydraulic clutch though. My car is a 68 convertible. Do not use the 4 cyl booster unless you have an automatic. It is a larger diameter and will eliminate the use of the standard or hydraulic clutch. You would have to use a cable clutch type like mustang steve's.
 
Thanks for the reply. I’ve actually got the booster and clutch master cylinder installed and I’ve been trying to measure clearances and it had appeared very close. I really didn’t want to give up either the booster or the hydraulic clutch.

If I can ask, did you relocate the pin on the brake pedal to keep the booster rod in it’s original orientation or did you rotate it up and keep the pedal intact?
 
I also have the 5.0 fox brake booster in my 68. I moved the pin on the brake pedal down, instead of flipping the rod over. When you flip the rod over it changes the height at which the brake pedal sits.

I used a different approach to adjusting the rod length. I flipped it over and shortened it by about 3/8 of an inch. Didn't have a drill bit the right size and had access to a welder. Moving the pin lower would probably be the best option. I haven't driven the car much since I did the conversion. Just off and on tow trucks to body shop and such. No problems with how it operates thus far. Someone else chime in if you think this will cause a problem.
