Mainly wondering if the hook up at the pedal and firewall is the same
Much shorter cableI got a cable and mount and pedal from a 82 I think. I'm going to see if it works in a few minutes here
Seems to work. I will have to customize the bracket a bit for my intake but will work
I did put the ball stud on the outer side of linkage and got everything hooked up. I did have to drill a new hole for it to line up. The intake was off a 289 and I'm not sure why the the bracket didn't fitIs the ball stud movable on the carb linkage? I'm thinking maybe the ball stud should be on the outer part of the linkage (thereby shifting the bracket towards the driver's side) and then maybe that will allow the bracket to align with some existing holes on the intake. It just seems like the intake would have provisions to accommodate the stock bracket.
