Has anyone made up a list of what wires are needed for the EFI swap?
Or even a list of the wires that can be deleted from the EFI EEC-IV harnesses.
I just don't want to remove wires that I should be using.

Thank you...

Ford Fuel Injection

That site should have enough information for you to complete it. It's the guide I did to do mine.

There's also a Ford Motorsport harness installation guide that has some more information on Pin-outs. I'll take a look to see if I still have the link somewhere...

I bought a wrecked 93 and took everything from there. I know that there are some wires that go from the EEC harness to under the dash in a 93 that I do not need. I'll probably just have to get some good wiring diagrams like I did when I put the 5.0 in my Ranger.

If you have read my posts (god knows there are a lot of them), I have had quite a few problems. But, each question resulted in a wealth of info on the conversion from these guys) Mis-information abounds on web. I have found that the folks here on Stangnet have been the most helpful.

It may take a few days, but I can send you the diagrams and information that I accumulated for the install that were the most helpful.

My STRONG suggestion is that you get a really good wiring diagram for the exact year car you have.

If you have a few days before you start the process, I can give you what I had to "discover" by trial and ERROR.

Go through this list of links as well; and good luck. I owe a "bunch of pay it forwards" so IM me if you want. - David
