egr delete..

Well i did a search and found a lil on this. Now i taken everything out for my egr and after a while my car is starting to pop/stutter for a couple secs when cold then goes back to normal. I decided this might be the cause and was going to put back together but thats way too much work and stuff i didn't keep =p.

But would leaving the silenoid cause any problems? Ill prob get this either way since to clean up the engine bay =p. But would that get rid of the problems or does my problem have nothing to do with egr...

i dont know that the egr would cause this on a cold motor. any codes?
incidentally, did you burn a chip, use a tweecer, etc when you removed the egr?

nah i dont have a chip or anything. I just always figured it was caused by the egr. The only other thing i could think of is air getting in past the mass air meter but i cant see anywhere it would leak. I was going to try to get a epec/fast later on down the road. I just never thought the egr would be bad enough to get a chip right a away.
