EGR Nut question.

So starting another thread can sometimes not be the best way to get the info you want. You can simply change the title on the first thread and then those that read it get all of the back ground. Just wanting to point out that you can change the title.

The best way I've found over the years is to unbolt the EGR from the intake then loosen the tube from the header with a crowfoot. I have a small set of torches and use a brazing tip to get a little heat on it. Then put the EGR in a vise to loosen the tube from it. Still broken a few in my time.

If you run with EGR blocked that means your combustion is higher temperature? Can that damage engine?
