EGR plugs for back of heads

i wanna take off the pipe that connects the 2 heads for egr.

does anyone know the ford part# for this. also is it just bolts that screw into the back of the head or is it somethign else also??


hopefully if i can get a part number i can see a pic of what i would be getting and maybe make something.

If you call the Ford dealer up they will have one. If not, an old spark plug will work.

That's not for the EGR, that's for the Air Thermactor Pump. EGR comes up from the center of the head through the intake to the EGR valve. Trick Flow sells the plugs, and Stang22 is right, Ford might have them.

TrickFlow makes plugs for the thermactor holes.

There is one bolt on each head that is holding the thermactor tubes in place. Just unbolt and pull them off. The TrickFlow plugs just screw in.
Also, they don't come in pares, order two.

Why dont you just go to a jy and buy the tube. To make your own block off all you have to do is cut the "blocks" off of each end, then flip them over and swap sides. Then with a little of the high temp rtv, just bolt them back on.I would show you some pic but it is on the car and you can't really see it all that good. I do hope that this helps.

Steve, I already told ya to go to the hardware store and get some bolts!!

BTW- I remember trying the spark plug idea and the threads were different, at least on my heads.
