In order to get at the Oil pressure sender I'm disconnecting the EGR on my 87 TC. I've blocked this thing off on other NA cars without any ill effects so my question...

Are there any reasons I can't delete this (apperently useless) system from my TC?

i never installed it when i swapped the 88 tc motor into my mustang.. Havent noticed a single problem because of it.
