what are yall's thought on the sportline eibach's....they are supposed to lower the car 2.0 in the front and 1.8 in the rear. is this to much....does anybody pics or any thoughts? thanks
The only thing with a drop that much (not just sportlines, but ANY spring that lowers the car more than 1.5") is you'll need c/c plates to get the front back into alignment. The Eibach's are a good spring, they still have decent ride quality, and I noticed the handling was quite a bit better after I put mine in.
$165 from partshopper for their pro3i, otherwise anywhere betweem $150 and $200 depending if you get a brand like MAC, or a brand like Steeda. You don't need a 4 bolt option unless you're planning on running coil-overs later.
I just switched mine from the pro kit to the sportlines and I also added x2 ball joints and didnt put in the bottom isolator on the front spring to give it the racked look. In total I dropped about 2 3/4 in front and 2 out back, Iv felt the suspention stiffen up a bit over the pro kit but I just have to drive more conservative and aware of pot holes and bumps in the road. I dont mind the ride when you consider the nice stance but I would recomend c/c plates and a bumpsteer kit which is next on my list of goodies along with some good shocks/struts.
