Has anyone had a problem with the Sportlines if you do not install the the spring isolaters and dampeners from the stock springs. I am planning an install of the Sportlines tomorrow and the stock isolaters and dampeners are long gone from a previous install of FRPP springs. I have 18x9 on front with 265/35/18 and 18x10 on the rear with 295/35/18.

i don't have one. and no real issue other them i can't drive any uneven pavement, or bump, and have to really slow down to get on to my drive way.
i don't have 295 on rear tho
i would use it if i'm doing it again. difference is really not that much, but it rubs paint off of spring, and might rust..

You better hold off until you get C/C plates your alignment will be terrible and your tires will hate you

my camber was visibly off, although the alignment was not that bad. still needs it though. my car rubbed with 17's but only on full lock turns or if the susp. got compressed in a tight turn. i have since gone to c-springs because they felt a little stiffer and the car seems to handle better with them.

Im actually taking mine off because of rubbing on the top of the front tires during compression , and the inside or the tire at lock, and geometry issues, but I liked the look.. Its just that ride height "cool factor " dont concern me as much as it used too,

i have your exact same tires, sizes and all on my chrome saleens. i had so many problems with my sportlines.

-first off the rear sway bar sits against my magnapack catback and clunks.
-the rear sits lower than the front giving it a dreadfully unattractive reared up look in front.
-The rears rub like hell until i rolled the fenders and changed springs. One of my rear tires got shredded around the edge from my fenders rubbing. and as you know a BFG KD in 295 runs you about $310

thats why i switched to roush springs in the rear. lifted the back by maybe 3/4". if i were you, i'd leave out the front isolators and put new ones in back. wish i woulda gone with H&R Super Sports...
