Hey Everyone.

Now I know this may start a big dispute but I plan on lowering my 05 Mustang GT. Now i've never lowered a car before and I don't know which springs to use. I hear Eibach and Steeda are both really good but I don't know which ones to go for, can some people who have them recommend one or the other for me and tell me what they think of each one because right now im leaning toward the Steeda Ultralite springs... they seem a bit cheaper.

go with the Ford "K" springs, they are made my Eibach, lower it the same amount and they are cheaper than both. ours came from Jegs and with hanlding fees and everything, they were $220. they are a little cheaper through Summit, but they didn't have them in stock when we ordered ours. as for recommendations, i can't speak bad of either, i have run Eibach in the past on other cars, and Steeda make a fine product as well. it will all depend on how low you want to go.

You can not go wrong with any of these options. One thing I would recommend though is to put some thought into what you want to do with the car later. If you're just going to lower it then go with the springs that give you the drop you want. But if you're planning other suspension mods down the road then pick the manufacturer that you want and stick to them. I lowered mine with eibach pros and then ended up throwing two thirds of the steeda catalog at it. Now I wish I had started with Steeda springs so they would match the rest of the pieces.

jlisle01's right. Suspension systems are engineered to work together as a complete package. Mixing and matching is not the best way to go. Saleen, Roush and Steeda have put many miles into R&D and actual race testing into all of their products. When I get my suspension pieces, I will only buy from them. I had the Eibach springs on my '00 GT, but that was all I ever did...just to get it to look better and get some gain. My '05, I plan to swap all the suspension components in time. The Roush Stage 3 system is on my wish list.

I bought my Ford K Springs from www.stangsuspension.com Guy was awesome, and I got them with a 10% off, and free shipping. I ended up paying $170.00 shipped. Awesome deal.

Thanks for the help guys! I just bought the Steeda Ultralite springs because I will probally be going with mostly Steeda parts... I checked out the Ford springs but it looks like they lower the car the same amount in front and rear i wanted to lower the rear a bit more so I went with Steeda cause of that too.
