Ok, by now we had fully expected to be driving Eleanor on weekends. Not so. *BUT* we *FINALLY* figured out the problem. The crank and the torque converter don't fit together. I know it seems like something you would notice pretty easily, but they do fit together to some extent-enough for it to appear that they are locked in. The plus side is that T&L is totally stepping up to the plate and will help us resolve the issue PLUS they are going to honor the 1 year warranty from the time we get it resolved (which would techincally be up this month, since we bought the motor last year). So a HUGE, HUGE cudos to T&L!! And of course, this means we might actually get Eleanor out on the road this year after all.
