....will be a 351w. The original 302 is toast-gouged cylinder walls, tore up pistons. It was already bored .30 over, and the gouges were caused by piston slap. From what we have determined, that's usually caused by out of round cylinder walls. So, we decided after some discussion and thought to keep the 78 302 we have for future project use, and go with the motor the original Eleanor had-a 351w. Now, we just have to find one that will work for us! Just a quick project update, not much else going on in this single digit cold and feet of snow!!
