depending on your radiator it wont just "bolt-in" with all electirc fans usually some kind of brcaket needs to be fabbed. You will also need a good fan controller, and an upgraded alternator.

these topics have been covered 10 fold on there and if you hit the search button you will find everything you need. Personally i bought a taurus fan for 25 bucks, a simple deralle controller for like $40 i think, and a PA performance 130 amp alternator with the 4 ga. wire to the solenoid

I have a Flex-A-Lite "Black Magic", but if I were to do it again, I'd go the junkyard fan route. The Black Magic kit is a straight bolt in, but there is no reason to spend a lot of money on a fancy aftermarket fan when Ford has been installing fans in cars that perform just as good or better for the last 15 years. OEM fans seem to have better build quality, too. You'll just have to fab up the brackets and wiring.

Taurus fan or a contour fan, DCC controller or some type of controller and probally a 3g upgrade. best route to go, you will not have any cooling issues.

Mark VIII fan will move the most air if I remember right. There have been a couple 03/04 Cobra guys that have even upgraded to the Mark VIII fan. When mine goes into high cooling mode it seems I could use it for thrust.

LOL. I run a Mark VIII on my Capri and love it. I just have to make sure my two kids don't walk around the front while it's operating. Don't want them sucked in or anything.

The brand I use is Ford Taurus.Super cooling capabilities.I've stated this elsewhere, but even when it was 114 degrees in July, the 5.0 stayed cool even just sitting at idle for periods of time.

I'll be installing a Mark VIII fan and DCC controller in my car here in a few days. For what it's worth, aside from the Taurus and Mark fans, I've heard the dual "ramcharger" fans on dodge and chrysler cars move a good amount of air as well and can also be ran with any controller type.

the mercury mystique fan is the hot ticket . . . dual fans, fit mustang radiator, move more cfm than the taurus fans do. it really is a beast and should only be used with a high amp alternator (just like any decent fan).

Either the Taurus Fan or Mark VIII Fan... can't go wrong!!! Much better than any aftermarket fan for less!

I have the Taurus Fan with a DCC controller and the cooling is fantastic even in hot weather. I highly recommend... pick one up and call it a day. I got mine from this guy on ebay -- http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/HUGE-18-INCH-LINCOLN-MARK-VIII-TAURUS-ELECTRIC-FAN-UNIV_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp3911Q2ec0Q2em14QQhashZitem3355528e90QQitemZ220474805904QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories

Mine was like new and runs great. Hope this helps!

I have a Flex-A-Lite "Black Magic" fan (got a good deal on it) and thought it was a pretty easy install and reliable. The fan only runs if sitting more than 5 minutes but drops the temp rather quickly IMO. I also have a Powermaster 140 alternator. After hearing a few horror stories about aftermarket controllers I figured I would go with a kit but a lot of people have had great luck with them as well and saved some $$$ building kits as mentioned above.

just get a 16in fan from advance. wire it to a relay and a switch for a manual override and a 180 stat and be done. its very cheap and hasn't failed me yet. keeps the caarr at a constant temp and very low draw on the voltage compared to like a taurus fan.
