Ok, so i purchased a 98 GT with a blown motor, and i replaced the motor with a motor from a 96 GT. I used the 96 motor harness and the 96 PDC harness. only thing i didnt use was the CCRM and wiring harness from the 96 along with the ECU. I used the 98 ECU, and the car started right up. only thing is, the fan never engaged. So i talked with a friend that was highly knowledgeable with stangs, and he said the ECU and CCRM is what controls the fan. So i changed the ECU and installed the 96, only now the car wont start cause i have the 98 key and the PATS is activated. Im getting the spare key from my friend tomorrow from the 96 GT, hopefully that should start right up. If the fan still doesent engage, does that mean that i have to change the CCRM and everything?
