I'm thinking about installing an electric fan on my 85 GT. I was looking at the Flex-A-Lite Black Magic fan. Is this worth the money or are there better fans on the market. I do like that the Flex-A-Lite is direct fit. I would rather not have to fab and cut the fan to fit. I also might switch to a Griffin or Fluiddyne radiator this summer, depending on how the cars temp is holding.

Have a flexalite works great but if your replacing radiator also i would wait and get a radiator/dual fan combo from someone like BeCool. The fit and finish will look much nicer. Just my opinion.

I had heard a lot of bad things about the Black Magic, people were calling it the Black Tragic. The new Black Magic fan that is mentioned in another theard looks nice though.

I have a black magic. The T-stat doesn't work all that well, but I just set it so that it's almost always on. I've had no cooling issues with it, and I'm running underdrives as well.
