i saw that some my buddies car "91 camrey" came stock with a dual electric fan set. if i got this from a junk yard would it work on a mustang? just an idea
If the dimensions were similar you can mount it and run a DCC unit to control the fans. Or just get a Mark Viii or SN95 fan and use that (they both cool fine)
i guess the main thing is outside of it fitting the car, what do i need in a electric fan, i know i'll probly buy one cheep of ebay, cuz it's cheap and i'm lazy, but for knowledge sake.
You can visit DC Control @ www.dccontrol.com This is the best controller you can purchase for any electric fan that is not wired into a factory computer.
There are a couple of pluses to running the electric fan: less weight on the W/P shaft, the fan only runs when it has to, increase MPG and smoother engine rev-ing.
The only minus is well.... if you live in a hot area live 1/2 mile away from the sun, well a mechanically driven fan may be the only way to properly cool your car.
