My blinkers have never worked on my car. I went to the hazard switch. I looked and the wires were not connected to the connector. I connected all of the wires correctly to the connectors and pluged the connectors into the switch. Then, I changed all of the fuses that were blown and bought one of those round things to put on the fuse box for the turn signals. The light for the turn signal will turn on, but not blink. And it will only work with my headlights on. So I will turn my headlights on, put my turn signal on, and the light will come on but not flash. What would cause the turn signal to not flash but to come on and to only come on when I turn my headlights on. I know it sounds like some kind of short somewhere but where. Any help on this would really help. Also, 2 of the slots on the connector are worn so the wires are not staying in well. What is the easiest solution to this? they don't make connectors anymore. Should I look for a used one off a parts mustang. Would it even work. I hope I can get this fixed. Thank you for any help on this

The round thing you replaced in your fuse box should be the hazard flasher, not the turn signal flasher. If you need to replace the turn signal flasher, it can be located in various places, but usually around the back of the fuse box, behind the center console, or up behind the glove box on the left somewhere.
