My cousin bought a crappy electric supercharger the other day, and I must say it looks like a piece of crap. There is no way these things can work, right?

An electric supercharger will not even generate enough psi to overcome the vaccum your engine is pulling. Inotherwords NO positive pressure in the intake manifold. The current needed to run an electric motor strong enough to make enough pressure would completely drain all ur accesories and anything else drawing current. Its jus not logical and a total gimmick when crank driven superchargers and turbochargers work the way they are supposed to.

one f the magazince had this question in the readers questions section. they showed exactly why it would not work. basicaly, you would need an electric motor bigger than your engine to make enough boost.

Thats the gist of what I was suggesting. Hence its right up there with the tornado on the list of vato performance products.

Maybe that's why it works on the imports.

probably marketed by the same people that have the turbo simulators(supposed to sound like a blow off valve on decell) for sale on e-bay.
