I have a 1991 LX 5.0 convertible. The drivers side window is up about 3 inches and will not go up or down. When I push on the button, I see the battery guage needle on the dashboard move, but the window will not budge.
I took it to a local mechanic who says its the motor and he wants $215.00 to repair. I'm not working right now and $215.00 is not in my budget to fix.
How hard would it be for me to do the work myself? I took off the door panel, but where is the motor located and how do I remove it?
Any help would be appreciated.
