Let me start off with explaining what I am currently doing with the car. I am completely replacing/refurbishing the interior in my 1988 5.0 Coupe. So, that being said I had the whole interior ripped out of the car, dash and all. At that time I also replaced the whole front light assemblies (housings).
Now to the problem. None of my lights work. Guage cluster lights don't work, headlights don't work, and the turn signals don't work. The tail lights do not come on when I turn on the headlight switch, however do come on when I step on the brake.
What I have done testing wise. I have checked all the fuses. I thought maybe it was the headlight switch, but the relay under the dash clicks when you flip that switch and the turn signals should work if it was only the headlight switch.
So, what I am thinking is that I have a bad ground. Am I on the right track? If so, where would this ground be found?
Thanks,
Chris
